Background Information

1 in 100 babies are born with some form of Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) and about 25% of CHD's are considered critical. Children with critical Congenital Heart Disease need surgery or other procedures within the first year of life.  Two-thirds of Congenital Heart Defects go undiagnosed before birth. These children are at risk of death or disability if their heart defect is not soon detected after birth. There is not currently a cure.

Our Goal

Mysterious Hearts was created to bring awareness to Congenital Heart Disease. We're raising awareness for those who fight everyday of their lives; for heart warriors. From any age, from everywhere in the world. We want to provide ways in which we can help with the journey of a CHD patient mentally and financially. We are beginning with donations aimed towards hospitals and research.
